Ans-Douglas' fear of water ruined his fishing trip. It deprived him of the joy of Canoeing, boating and fishing. He ured every way he knew to over come. this fear, he had developed since Childhood. Even as an adult it held him firmly in its grip. He determined to get an instructor and learn swimming to get over this fear of water.

Ans- Antarctica is the perfect place to study the effect that Global warming is Causing. It is here that one can see the effect of melting glaciers and Collapsing ice- shelves and how this is likely to raise the water level in the sea and the ocean, as a resul of which many low lying region will be sub merged under water.
