S.T. Coleridge was a romantic poet. He gives a mixture of real and imaginary
concepts. He wanted to build a dome that would be untroubled by any of the
natural forces. He did not want that there should be any change in his own
world. He wanted to build a dome in the air. He wanted that something should be
built that might go with natural motions of the world. Thus,
he has presented many things like sacred river Alph, towers, fertile land,
streams with brightwater, greenery, walls, ancient forests, cedarn trees etc.
which seem to be quite real. On the other hand, he presents vaulted hail,
