Radium is a white powder that has the appearance of table salt. A pound of it is worth a thousand pounds of gold. Radium is very expensive because it is very scarce. A pinch of it is worth a small fortune. There are only a few spoons in the world. But radium is so potent that excess amounts are dangerous. A pound or two gathered in one spot will kill anyone who approaches.
