Ans- Prakriti was a girl who belonged to the untouchables and was known as Chandalika. Her life was a misery she was ill-treated by everyone because of the caste. This made her believe that she is not like other humans Prakriti has a stubborn nature as it is reflected in the play.

Ans- Causes

Prices rise when demand for a good is higher than its supply. Other factors that can contribute to price rises include.

International price fluctuations. India imports petroleum, vegetable, and edible oils, so international price fluctuations can affect the prices of essential commofities.

Transportation although India is seif- sufficient in agricultural products, transportation can still lead to price rises.

Effects

Rising prices can have a profound impact on Indian households. Some effects include

Financial strain most Indian households don't have inflation-adjusted incomes, so when inflation rises, costs rise, putting financial strain on families.

Education and health rising costs can lead to children leaving school and families forgoing essential healthcare.

Poverty rising prices can make it impossible for the poor to live.
