Subject - Regarding the effects of deforestation in Jharkhand.

Sir

Through the columns of your esteemed paper, I want to draw the attention of the concerned authorities towards the effect of deforestation in Jharkhand. Trees are cut rapidly to fulfill our requirements. Actually forests are the pride of Jharkhand but now we are losing it. It results in increase in temperature, uneven climate and less rainfall. As forests are the lungs of our place, deforestation is one of the biggest cause of all types of pollution. I hope people will understand and think about it.

Yours faithfully

SAVE WATER

Water is an important ingredient of our life. Life without water is no life because man cannot live without it. The recently misuse and pollution has created scarcity of clean water. There are various cities all over the country which face problems of clear drinking water. In cities like Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata, people have to pay for drinking water. The situation is deteriorating day by day. The scarcity of water has occurred not by just misuse but recent wars and explosions along with uncontrolled developments are also responsible for it. Cleaning of forests and making cities tree-free has created global warming and pollution. Global warming and weather changes have sent water level to deep down behind economical reach. Canals, tanks, tubewells and wells are not fulfilling the demands of irrigation.

Acid rains and glacier meltdown have created new problems to tackle.
