Subject:
Creating Awarness about the 'Importance of Sports and Game'
Sir,
Through the columns of
your esteemed daily. I would like to draw teh attention of general public
towards the fact that games and sports are not given as much importance in our
country as is given to academics. As a result are achievements in the
international arena are not very spectacular.
Sports
and games are gradually losing their importance because there is not much
awarness, therefore it needs to be created. Student and parents must understand
that sports and games are necessary for all-round development of children.
People are so busy running in the rat race that they fail to realise that
sports is a great career option as well. Sports people and athletes not only
become the face of the country but also they earn well.
I
hope that I have been able to highlight the problem in this etter and that, in
future, sports and game will be given equal importance as is given to
academics.
Thank
you.
Yours sincerely
Sunita/Sameer
