every country people imagine that they are the best and the cleverest and the
others are not so good as they are. The Englishman thinks that he and his
country are the best; the Frenchman is very proud of France and everything
French. The Germans and Italians think no less of their countries. Many Indians
imagine that India is in many ways the greatest country in the world. Everybody
wants to think well of himself and his country. But really there is no person
who has not got some good and some bad qualities. In the same way there is no
country which is not partly good and partly bad. We must take good wherever we
find it and try to remove the bad wherever it may be.

Importance
of time
Time
and tide wait for none. Man has a lot of duties in. his short span of life and
so time is the most important factor in one's life. We should remember that we
cari- not recall the time that is gone. We can stop the clock but we cannot
stop the time. We can regain lost money. and lost health. But lost time is gone
forever. So, we should know the use of time. This knowledge and habit. of
proper use of tirne are the secrets of success. And so we must make the best
use of every moment. If we idle away our time, our appointed work will suffer
and suc- cess will be hard to achieve. We must do our work at the earliest
opportunity. We must always remember the proverb "A stitch in time saves
nine." What can be done today should not be put off for tomorrow.
Value
of Trees.
As
a matter of fact trees have great importance and value in our life. We are
benefitted by them in many ways. They give us fruits, woods, shades and so on.
They also give us fuel, fodder and medicines etc. The most important thing is
that trees give us oxygen which is an important thing for our life. They
themselves use carbon dioxide and release oxygen. Without oxygen we cannot
live. So trees are essential for our life. We must respect them and should
plant more and more trees.

Q18. Who was the real culprit according to the king? Why does he

Ans.
According to the king, the late father of the rich merchant is the real
culprit. He pressurized the goldsmith. While waiting for the goldsmith, the
girl walked by and a distracted bricklayer made a weak wall which fell down
killing a thief. But he escapes the punishment as he is no more. His surviving
has now to undergo punishment.

Behrman was a 60 years old painter. He lived on the ground floor of the
building. His only dream in life was to paint a masterpiece. His dream was
fulfilled when he painted the last leaf of the ivy creeper.

कि हम उस समय को याद नहीं
करते हैं जो चला गया है। हम घड़ी को रोक सकते हैं, लेकिन हम समय को रोक नहीं सकते
हैं। हम खोए हुए पैसे को वापस पा सकते हैं। और स्वास्थ्य खो दिया। लेकिन खोया हुआ

रंग आदि देते हैं। वे हमें ईंधन, चारा और दवाएं आदि भी देते हैं। सबसे महत्वपूर्ण
बात यह है कि पेड़ हमें ऑक्सीजन देते हैं जो हमारे जीवन के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण चीज
है। वे स्वयं कार्बन डाइऑक्साइड का उपयोग करते हैं और ऑक्सीजन छोड़ते हैं। ऑक्सीजन
के बिना हम जीवित नहीं रह सकते। पेड़ हमारे जीवन के लिए आवश्यक हैं। हमें उनका
सम्मान करना चाहिए और अधिक से अधिक पेड़ लगाने चाहिए।
