Subject - Impact of Social Media on Students

Respected Sir/Madam

Through the columns of your esteemed daily, I would like to draw the everyone's attention towards the impact of social media on the life of a student. It is true that internet is valuable for learning and connecting globally. However, excessive usage harms productivity, attention span and mental well-being. Cyberbullying and misinformation spread rapidly. Schools and parents should promote responsible usage, balancing online activities with offline learning, exercise and socialization. Educators should teach digital literacy and online safety.

Rural areas face a digital divide, lacking quality internet. Policymakers must address this, ensuring equal access. Let's harness social media's potential while minimizing drawbacks. I urge readers to share experiences.

Yours sincerely RajkumarSen

52. The trees around our society is gradually disappearing with passing time. They play a huge role in maintaining the ecological balance. Write an article on "Importance of Trees for a Healthy Environment".

Ans-

Importance of Trees for a Healthy Environment

Trees are the lungs of our planet, producing oxygen and purifying the air we breathe. Their disappearance threatens ecological balance and human well-being. Trees absorb carbon dioxide, pollutants and toxic gases, while releasing life-giving oxygen. They shield us from harsh sunlight, reduce noise pollution and provide habitat for diverse wildlife. Soil erosion prevention, groundwater recharge and climate regulation are additional benefits.

Deforestation and urbanization accelerate environmental degradation. To mitigate this, collective action is necessary. Planting trees, reducing paper consumption and supporting reforestation initiatives contribute significantly. Governments, organizations and individuals must collaborate to protect existing forests and promote sustainable practices. Preserving trees ensures cleaner air, healthier lifestyles and a thriving ecosystem for future generations. Let us unite to safeguard our planet's precious green cover.
