Read
the passage given below carefully and choose the correct options to answer the
questions.
In
recent years, climate change has emerged as one of the most pressing global
issues. Scientists agree that the Earth's temperature is rising due to the
increase in greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous
oxide. These gases trap heat in the atmosphere, leading to a phenomenon known
as global warming. The impacts of climate change are far-reaching. Rising sea
levels threaten coastal cities, extreme weather events such as floods and
droughts are becoming more common, and many species are struggling to survive
as their habitats change or disappear. In some regions, farmers are facing
reduced crop yields due to unpredictable rainfall patterns. Addressing climate
change requires a collective effort. Governments must implement policies to reduce
carbon emissions, invest in renewable energy sources like solar and wind power,
and protect forests that absorb carbon dioxide, Individuals, too, can
contribute by using energy efficiently, reducing waste, and adopting
sustainable lifestyles. The future of our planet depends on the choices we make
today. If action is delayed, the damage caused by climate change may become
irreversible, putting both the environment and human life at risk.

Dear
Anshu,
Hope
you're doing great! I wanted to share with you about how I am preparing for our
upcoming Class 10 Board Examination. I have started it with full vigour and
intensity. I have made a study timetable to manage all the subjects
efficiently. Each day, I spend around two to three hours revising different
subjects. I focus on understanding concepts rather than just memorizing them. I
am giving special focus on Math and Science.
For
difficult topics, I solve extra practice questions and refer to our textbooks
and notes thoroughly. I'm also tackling past papers to understand the pattern
and practice. I get help from teachers for tricky topics. I also try to take
short breaks between study sessions to stay fresh and avoid stress.
I
hope with this approach I will perform well in the exams. How's your
preparation going? Let's exchange tips. It will help us both.
Looking
forward to your reply.
Yours

mother does not think it necessary to take Bholi's consent for her marriage.
The groom is old and lame. Still he demands dowry. Her father is also ready to
