Cook, the explorer of Australia and New Zealand was born in Marton village,
Cleveland, on October 28, 1728. From his boyhood, he was interested in sea
Journeys. One day he made up his mind. He, too, was going to sea in order to
visit beautiful lands. At the age of twenty-seven, Cook had become the first
mate. The first service Cook saw was in Canada. There he was employed in the
task of surveying the St. Lawrence.

on August 25. 1768, was with a company of eighty-three men. They set sall in
the ship named "Endeavour". They planned to cover a bigger part of
the globe. They reached Tahiti in the spring of 1769. Cook travelled south on

Good
hobby is the best answer to utilise our leisure. It becomes the best source of
recreation. My hobby is gardening. I have a small plot of land in front of my
house. Here I use the spare time of my morning and evening best. I prepare the
soil, nurse the plants and care the flowers. The greenery of my garden adds
extra beauty to my house. No one can pass without throwing sight over it. Then
I feel mental and physical satisfaction which pacifies my soul.

Science
is my passion. Whenever I get time I study and try to understand different
principles of science. Based on the practical aspects of science I use to make
various types of models and devices. Just during my leisure I made a model of
Clean Energy producing device. It was selected for National Science Exhibition
which was held in November 2021. It was a happy time for me. But the happiest
day in my life came in this exhibition. The International Scientists were very
impressed by my idea and they invited me for International Junior Science
Exhibition to be held in U.S.A. during May, 2022. It was like a dream for me.
But it was real. It was the happiest moment in my Life

he sent an envelope to Lencho with a signature "God".
When
Lencho received the envelope with signature of God, he became delighted. He
happily opened the envelope and counted the money. It was only seventy pesos, a
less of thirty pesos. Lencho became furious and decided to write again to God
for the rest amount but not through the mail. Because he believed that post
office employees were a bunch of crooks.

Mandela talks about every man's twin obligations. One is to his family to his

people are deprived of their freedom, it is not possible. If a man looks at the
suppression of the people and acts to get rid of the situation, he is punished
and isolated from his family. He has to live life of a rebel. In such condition
he cannot fulfil his responsibilities towards his family. On the other hand, if
he ignores the poor condition of his country and its people, he may live a good
family-life, but he is not fulfilling his obligation to his country.

Mrs. Pumphrey loved her dog Tricki too much. She cared for it like a child. She

food and every sort of clothing was given to it. Tricki had separate beds,
separate bowls. Tricki led a very comfortable and luxurious life. It did not do
any work. All the time it ate. So, eating all the time and doing no work made
it very fat. This resulted in its falling ill, Mrs. Pumphrey got worried. She
immediately called Mr. Herriot a veterinary surgeon for the dog's treatment.
So, it was Mrs. Pumphrey excess love that led to its falling very ill.

loved rare expensive books. So he robbed one safe every year to buy such books.
He was a successful thief. He planned his robberies well. In this way he was
not completely honest.
He
was not a hard core thief. He felt nervous when he saw the young lady in red.
He was foolish enough to believe her. He took his gloves off. He broke open the
safe. He gave her all the jewels. After two days he was arrested for the
robbery. Thus he was outwitted by another thief.
