The
Mohwa is one of the most important of Indian forest trees, not for its timber
but for its delicious flowers. To the people of Central India it provides the
most important article of food as the flowers can be stored almost
indefinitely.
The
Mohwa tree has a large thick grey bark. Most of the leaves fall from February
to April and during that time the scented flowers, appear in close bunches of a
dozen or so. It is at night that the tree blooms and at dawn each short lived
flower falls to the ground. A couple of months after the flowering berries.
They are quite large and contain from one to four shiny brown seeds.
The
gathering of the edible Mohwa flowers is an important business to the country
people. Below the tree the ground is cleared and swept and at dawn blooms are
collected and allowed to dry out on the earth. The flowers taste something like
pressed figs. Sugar puddings and other sweetmeats are made from them. All parts
of the fruits, both ripe and unripe are used. A thick oil is extracted from the
kernels, whichbeing yellowish, gives it the name of 'Butter Tree'. The oll is
used for cooking, making soap and candles.

is so innocent that we find him ungrateful towards post office employees.
Writing a second letter to God, asking Him to send the balance amount he needs
but not through the mail makes us laugh. He is therefore, comical also.

to be pushed away to take delivery. They would climb a bench or the parapet to
peep into the basket. They loved bread bangles. When they got their share, they
did not even care to brush their teeth or wash their mouths properly.

Ausable opened the door of his room and switched on the light, he found Max
standing across the room. He had a small, automatic gun in his hand. Ausable
understood immediately why Max was there. So he misled him by telling him about
"the balcony" and the police. Max believed his story. To escape the
police, he jumped down to "the balcony". But the fact was that there
was neither police nor any balcony. It was only the product of Ausable's mind.
He had actually jumped down to his death. Thus, Ausable got rid of Max by using
his wisdom.

to A Historical Place or, Visit to A Tourist Place

the last winter break the historical club of our school organised a two des
trip to Agra. We reached Agra and first of all we went to the Taj Mahal Shah
Jahan had built it in the memory of his wife Mumtaz. In the moonlit night, the
Taj looked really a dreani in marble. We entered through the red-stone gate.
The Taj stands on a raised platform on the bank of the Yamuna. The four
minarets in the comers looked beautiful. Its beauty was breathtaking. No wonder
